Dr. Marc Rothman Dr. Rothman, a native of Philadelphia, offers his patients more than 20 years of surgical experience. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, the Temple University School of Dental Medicine, and completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical training at Howard University Hospital and D.C. General Hospital in Washington, D.C. After his residency, he pursued advanced fellowship training in reconstructive surgery of the facial bones (orthognathic surgery) and disorders of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and is also certified by the National Board of Dental Anesthesia.

Dr. Rothman teaches at the Max Fogel Department of Dental Medicine of the Albert Einstein Medical Center (Philadelphia) where he serves as a senior attending and Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Rothman has authored several publications and has focused much of his attention in the past 10 years on the management of the difficult dental implant patient. Highlighting these achievements are his memberships in the American Academy of Osseointegration, the International College of Oral Implantology, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Rounding off his achievements in dentistry is Dr. Rothman’s dedication to dental and medical philanthropy. He serves as the Chairman of the US Alpha Omega Foundation which funds dental health, education, research, and care worldwide. He is a co-developer of the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity’s Global Oral Health Initiative, and has served as the co-chair for the “Tomorrow Smiles” program of the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation. Dr. Rothman also serves as a Chairman of the Greater Philadelphia Jewish Federation’s Health Care affinity Group, as a member of the Board of Temple University’s Hillel, as a member of the advisory committee for the Tel Aviv University School of Dental Medicine, and serves as a member of the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University.
